Caramel wheat malt from Malteries Franco-Belges in France is a drum-roasted caramel malt made from the highest quality, German wheat. This incredibly unique wheat malt is almost 100% caramelized and adds creaminess, body, and colour to finished beers. It contributes some phenolic wheat flavours along with notes of caramel, almond, and a bready aroma. Use up to 15% in your next Belgian Witbier, Red Ale, Hefeweizen or Dunkelweizen.
