Galena Pellet Hops

Originating in the US, this variety is commonly referred to as the “mellow high alpha”, and was bred in 1968 via open pollination of Brewers Gold and released for cultivation in 1978. They produce a well-balanced bitterness with aromas of fruit citrus and spice. Typical use of Galena pellet hops include English Bitters, Ales, Porters and Stouts.
