White Labs WLP810 San Francisco Lager Yeast is used to produce the “California Common” style beer. A unique lager strain which has the ability to ferment up to 65°F (18°C) while retaining lager characteristics. Can also be fermented down to 50°F (10 °C) for production of marzens, pilsners and other style lagers. The shelf-life of White Labs PurePitch is 4-6 months from the QC-release date labeled on the package. As a result of the proprietary dual-layer film, yeast are able to remain in excellent condition with high viability and performance.
