PBW (Powdered Brewery Wash) 1 Lb

PBW (Powdered Brewery Wash) is a patented alkali cleaner originally developed for Coors, now widely used in commercial breweries across North America. Use 1 to 2 ounces per gallon for cleaning kettles, 3/4 ounce per gallon for fermenters, kegs, tanks, and other equipment.

Cleaning Procedure:

1. Rinse equipment with warm water immediately after brewing
2. Dissolve 2 oz in 2-5 gallons of warm water
3. Soak until clean; little to no scrubbing required
4. Rinse thoroughly and then sanitize with Star San No-Rinse Sanitizer

    PBW is the best for cleaning stuck on grime. I also use it to clean out my blow off tubes where I can’t get in to clean with a brush.
