Pilsen light DME (dry malt extract) is made from 99% pilsen malt and 1% carapils. Pilsen aka Pilsner is the lightest available extract producing a very nice, crisp and clear wort with subtle malt flavour. Used in all extract beer styles or to adjust colour, flavour and gravity of all grain brews while increasing body & head retention. At goldsteam, our dry malt extracts and sugars are packaged in 1Lb BPA-free food grade poly plastic bags and sealed to retain freshness.
