300 Micron Stainless Steel Cylindrical Hop Spider 6″ x 14″

This 300 micron stainless steel cylindrical hop spider is the perfect solution for containing your hops during the boil, and preventing them from entering your pump, chiller and fermenter. The spider has two hooks at the top to ensure a stable upright position along the inside kettle wall. While boiling, hops can be added directly into the spider. The basket measures 14 inches in height with a diameter of 6 inches from top to bottom, making it larger than our tapered mesh basket. The entire basket is made of 304 stainless steel with a 300 micron mesh to contain 99% of the hop material, while still allowing the oils and acids to escape and perform exactly as you’d expect. The basket is reusable and will last a lifetime. To clean, simply dump the spent hops and rinse with water. Re-sanitize in the boil during your next batch. After a few uses, we recommend a soft nylon brush, PBW and hot water at 160°F to remove any build up.
