Originating in the US in 1983 by crossbreeding Hallertau and USDA 64035M, this variety is mild, sweet and slightly spicy (very similar to Hallertau). Liberty hops are typically used in American and German Ales, Lagers, Pilsners, Wheats and Bocks.
