Our 5500 watt stainless steel brewing element is made entirely of 304 stainless steel and will not rust, while the 1.5″ tri-clamp flange and integrated L6-30P twist lock plug will make your electrical build that much easier. The ultra low watt density element produces very low wattage per square inch, greatly reducing the chance of scorching and/or caramelizing your wort. If accidentally plugged in dry, these ultra low watt density elements will not break as quickly. However, always ensure the element is fully submerged in water/wort before turning on the power.

• 10 gallons of tap water (7°C) to strike temp (74°C) = ~ 38 min
• 7 gallons of wort from mash-out (76°C) to boil (100°C) = ~ 7 min
• 12 gallons of wort from mash-out (76°C) to boil (100°C) = ~ 13 min
