CaraAroma® malt is a drum-roasted dark caramelized 2-row summer barley that is red-dark brown in colour with a high colloidal content and a glassy exterior. The taste is malty-sweet, with coffee-like flavours and roasty aromatic notes. Adds body and improves aromas in dark beers, German altbiers, bocks, stouts and porters.
