Brewers Crystals (Per Lb)

Brewers crystals are a mixture of corn syrup and glucose solids and are used to mimic barley malt extract by boosting the alcohol content while maintaining body and mouthfeel. It’s an 80% fermentable adjunct that doesn’t contribute any flavour to the beer, helps reduce the cost of an extract batch, and allows hops to shine through in all beer styles. Can also be used to adjust gravity in all grain brewing if you don’t hit your target gravity. Brewers crystals consist of 56% maltose, 16% maltotriose, 8% dextrose, and 20% higher saccharides.
