Golden light DME (Dry Malt Extract) is ideal for light-coloured ales & lagers or as a base to allow the flavours of specialty grains to shine through. Light dry malt extract is made from a combination of 99% base malt and 1% carapils. Can be used to increase gravity and adjust colour in all grain batches or as a yeast starter. At goldsteam, our dry malt extracts and sugars are packaged inside of 1Lb BPA-free food grade poly plastic bags and sealed to retain freshness.
A great quality of DME, mixes wonderfully and you can tell its fresh as there is no extract twang in the beer when its finished. I’ve used this for IPA’s and Sours. Great go to.
