Developed in Germany by the Hull Hop Research Institute in 1978, this variety was bred from English Northern Brewer. Perle pellet hops produce floral, fruity and spicy aromas with notes of mint. They work well in German Ales, Lagers, Pilsners, Alts and Weizens.
