The Stainless Steel Hop Spider is perfect for containing hops while brewing beer, preventing pesky hops from entering your chiller or fermenter. The spider is to be positioned to sit over the edge and extend 18″ into your kettle or keggle. While boiling, hops can be directly poured into the spider. The basket is 13 3/4″ in height with an opening that has a 5 3/4″ diameter, tapering down to 3 7/8″ at the bottom. It is made of 304 stainless steel with the mesh having an aperture of .2mm, allowing it to catch 99% of the hop material while still allowing hops to move about in the kettle producing great hop efficiency.
